Bright Beginnings Field Day

Guppies: 9:30-10AM
Dolphins: 10AM-10:30AM
Goldfish: 10:30AM-11AM
Starfish: 11-11:30AM
Penguin: 1PM-1:30PM
Seahorse: 1:30-2PM
Sea Otters: 2PM-2:30PM

It is a day of fun and games for all students! Stations will be set up with different activities. If you can work at a station, please sign up in your child’s class. We need 5 parents from each class to run a station for 45 minutes. Thanks so much!

Pre K and Kindergarten Graduation! — Wednesday, June 18th - 5PM at St. Mary’s

• All graduating children should be at school June 9th to June 13th every day.
• We will be rehearsing between 11PM-12PM.
• Seahorse children should arrive at 10:45AM and are welcome to stay through lunch and go to their afternoon class.
• All other classes should arrive at school at 9AM even if it is not your child’s day to be at school.
• Rehearsal at St. Mary’s to be held Monday, June 16th 11AM—1PM.
• On June 18th, graduating children should go home at noon so they are well rested for the graduation ceremony.
• Graduates should arrive at St. Mary’s at 4PM.
• Graduation pictures by Mr. Stinky will be on Monday, June 2nd.
DVD’s will be taken the night of graduation by Herring Photography. The forms will be coming shortly.

Summer Camp - weeks of 7/7, 7/14, 7/21 and 7/28. Details to follow.

General Reminders…
1.Your child should have a complete change of clothing in his cubby with his/her name on it—pants, shirts, underwear and socks (diapers and wipes for children who aren’t potty trained).

2. Children need a smock with his/her name on it

3. Sign in and out everyday using pin numbers (you can get them from the Director). If somebody other than you is picking up your child, we must have a written note containing the person’s name and address. A staff member will check ID’s before your child is released. A child will not be released without a letter and the letter must include the address of the person picking up your child.

4. Lunch boxes should go in your child’s cubby including healthy snacks and lunches. Please remember we are a nut free school (all types of nuts ). See the orientation letter regarding this.

5. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month from September to June. Late fees will be charged on the 5th of each month. Checks should be placed in the mailbox located on the wall outside the Director’s door. The option for using the tuition express system, whereby tuition is automatically withdrawn monthly from your checking account or credit card account is available.

6. Children should come to school in play clothes since we do messy activities.

7. Fill out student cards as soon as possible so we have updated records on file (include a photo of your child).

8. We follow the Sparta School District for snow closing or delayed opening schedules. Listen to 102.3 FM or log onto www.sparta.org for school closing information. Delayed opening means Bright Beginnings opens at 10AM.

9. If your child is absent from school, please call and inform us so we don’t worry. If you know in advance, please inform your child’s teacher or the Director.

10. If your child would like to stay for lunch, there will be a $5/day charge. Lunch is from 12-12:30PM.

This system offers you the convenience of automatic tuition payments.  Fill out your forms quickly in order to be enrolled in this program.  We would like everybody to be on this system by November.
